If you've done the -photographer rounds- its easy to pick up a camera system and begin to use it. However, its critical to be intricately familiar with the vagaries of camera systems during challenging shooting conditions. After shooting slide for several years, I made a 100% move to digital in 2003.
My post-capture work is minimal and I'm migrating from Adobe Lightroom to Phase One's Capture One Pro. I have recently found Digital Nirvana by moving to a system around the Phase One IQ250 Digital back.
I now use the systems below :
- Medium Format Phase One IQ250 Digital Back
- Hasselbtad H5x Camera
- HCD 28mm/4.0
- HC 3.5-4.5/50-110 mm
- HC 2.8/80 mm HC 4/210 mm
- HC 4.5/300 mm
- Tete Converter H1.7X
- Alpa STC
- Alpa 12-XY Mark IV
- Rodenstock HR Alpagon 4.0/40mm SB
- Rodenstock HR Alpagon 5.6/70mm SB
- Schneider Apo-Digitar 4.5/90 mm
My vendor of choice is Capture Integration - give them a be pleasantly surprised.
